This strange canvas poses many questions. What is the triangle shape that shrouds the female nude? Why is she nude and what is the connection to the horns below her? Visually speaking, she is trapped between these two forms, and peers out at us pleadingly, red staining her breast and the edges of her body within the ominous triangle.
